The MOKSH group was established in India in 2012 with a clear mission: to bridge the gap in healthcare professionals worldwide. By 2018, it had risen to become a leader in the healthcare student mobility space in the B2C segment, annually placing over 1000 students in medical programs across 6 countries. However, it became evident that merely placing students into medical programs was not the complete solution. Every student needed to clear licensing exams such as the FMGE or USMLE before practicing their clinical skills. Yet, the success rate for students in these licensing exams, especially the FMGE, was a mere 14.22%. This highlighted a critical need for a solution to support students in their exam preparation. In 2019, the Indian parliament passed a law mandating a licensing exam for all doctors, both those trained domestically and those returning from abroad, known as the NEXT (National Exit Test). This exam would apply to all graduates passing after June 2023. Suddenly, medical students realized that obtaining an MBBS degree did not automatically grant them a license to practice in India. They needed to prepare for this crucial exit exam. Thus, the MOKSH Academy was established, quickly becoming the top choice for medical students across the country seeking preparation for various entry and exit exams.
