Description:

Pilot a submarine, a battleship and a fighter plane all at the same time. Yes, that's right, Battlestations Midway puts you in charge of every war machine in this massive conflict letting you control them one at a time, like a simulation game, or issue orders for the AI to carry out, like a strategy game. Loads of possibilities and tons to do in each position mean that you could be the hero of the Pacific conflict.
Battlestations Midway is the perfect mix between simulation and real time strategy. Putting you right in the centre of WWII Pacific, you'll be fighting in battles from Pearl Harbour to Midway (as you may suspect from the title). Pulling off aerial dogfights better than any arcade sim out there as well as ship and submarine battles that'll leave you stunned. The combination of all of them together makes for huge battles where attack can come from any side.
Obviously the particularity of Battlestations Midway is that after ordering your units around from the minimap, if you think that a certain unit needs more of a hands on approach, then you can do just that, get hands on. Piloting ships, subs and planes is easy thanks to the intuitive interface and the excellent tutorials, so you can get right into the battles.
And what battles, there are over 60 units to control, each lovingly created with their own weak and strong points, and a battle can feature up to 100 units fighting at a time over huge battlefield going on in the air on the sea and beneath the waves.
Safe to say that you won't be bored with Battlestations; there are 11 epic campaign missions to fight through, following the story of Henry Walker, a gunner at Pearl Harbour and his wartime career.
