Are you creating niche sites to profit from your online business? If not, you should give serious thoughts to this one technique that has the potential to put some substantial cash in your pocket.

If you are already creating niche sites, do you have a niche marketing strategy? If your niche marketing strategy is to go after broader niches like beauty products or online marketing, then it will be difficult to acheive success due to the immense competition.

So, what niche marketing strategy you should adopt? You shoud start with a micro niche. What is a micro niche? It is a niche within a niche. For example, cheap wine glasses is a micro niche. You are targeting customers who are not only looking for wine glasses but they are also looking for cheap wine glasses.

Some factors that you should consider before selecting a micro niche.

1. It should have enough search volume.

Preferably the search volume should be more than 2000 searches per month.

2. It should have good commercial intent.

People who are looking for cheap wine glasses want to buy the product. They are not interested in collecting research information about cheap wine glasses.

In contrast, a micro niche like California wineries has almost zero commercial intent because people are searching for information. They are unlikely to buy the product.

Once, you have targeted a micro niche, you should do keyword research to zero in on those long tail keywords that are less competitive to rank in the search engine result pages. For example, some good keywords for cheap wine glasses micro niche are “green wine glasses”, “hand painted wine glasses”, “large wine glasses”, “libbey wine glasses”, “cheap wine glasses reviews”, etc.

After selecting 20 or more related keywords, your goal should be to rank high in search engine result pages by creating quality contents based on your chosen keywords.
