Why Wjec Gcse Students Trust Studyhours For Unitised Assessment Success

WJEC is the national awarding body of Wales, and it kept its unitised structure even as English boards went fully linear. That means WJEC students can bank unit marks through the course, retake individual units to improve, and spread the exam load across the two years rather than facing everything in one summer series. Add the two separate Maths GCSEs, a strong non-exam assessment component in many subjects, and the Eduqas brand for English schools, and WJEC demands genuinely specialist knowledge. Our tutors work from the live WJEC specifications and examiner reports, teaching the command words and grade conventions that separate a 5 from an 8 or 9.
