Traffic Welfare & Road Safety Foundation provides services to most of the backward village in Uttar Pradesh and envisions a just, equitable and sustainable society where all people have access to their social, economic and democratic rights and the capacity to achieve their full potential And lead a dignified life. Social injustice, economic disparities, lack of access to health services and education opportunities. We work towards the improvement of these factors. We feel the best investments are in health and education. We consider each individual as an asset for the nation and thrive for their potential success in life. Traffic Welfare & Road Safety Foundation supports project in the following areas: • Promoting health awareness • Providing education opportunities for children • Supporting economic empowerment through small loans (micro credit) and training for women that facilities entreprencurship & fosters small business development. Focus Traffic Welfare NGO focuses on promoting uplifting of citizen and vulnerable groups especially women, children, youth and the most vulnerable. These areas include youth for social development focuses on promoting good governance and citizen participation than have direct impact on poor and most vulnerable groups especially women, children, and youth. Target Population Target communities served by TRSF` are from the lowest strata of society. The NGO work for upliftment of people limited by a low status in society in the areas of social, economic, domestic, personal and cultural development. The total number of people directly and indirectly benefiting from the services from Traffic Welfare NGO is approximately 154,000in 2024. Major Activities Health care activities in rural villages include free health camps and awareness programs. Vocational training Programs are organized for unemployed women to build their skills and make them profitable. Training Program for group of 25 women include tailoring, knitting, embroidery, handloom weaving and making leather products. Night school for illiterate women: female literacy in Ghaziabad as well all district in Uttar Pradesh. To address this night schools operate to teach basic and function literacy. Operating pre- school for children where there are no government run pre-primary schools (Anganwadis). Women’s development program: Organizing women into self-help groups, promotion of saving and credit activities, and small businesses development through microfinance. Power in Partnership with Some other Foundations Traffic Welfare & Road Safety Foundation is striving hard to enter into partnership with self-help groups. The current project is to help tribal population in two remote village of Uttar Pradesh. This project has three main components: non-formal education, income generation and health care. Present Activity of Traffic Welfare & Road Safety Foundation The present Activity of Traffic Welfare & Road Safety Foundation (TRSF) is to educate and to create health awareness, public health care facility, shelter house, old age programs, cleanliness programs with primary focus on villages under privileged society, social work Promotion of education and employment and to develop, build, promote health Care Centre for the under privileged public. Helping the poor children and women get appropriate medical facilities, supply of drinking water the Company has started many programs like cleanliness, Ardh kumbh, Chatt maiya program in Ghaziabad . TRSF has also started free coating classes on Sunday for poor boys and girls of slum Area and also providing other facilities and help to them as and when required. The Company is also striving in the promotion of education and employment, by bring the down trodden in the ambit of having vocational training by providing and making arrangements for scholarship to needy and bright student who could not afford the exorbitant fees of education and higher education. The company is further trying to develop the skill and promote self help group and to promote the skill India Development program. Grants & Donation TRSF is making whole hearted efforts for giving smile to the poorest of the poor by providing the service, but to achieve its goal. Traffic Welfare & Road Safety Foundation needs fund in the form of Grants and DONATION. Any honest efforts for upliftment of the down trodden has to be supported by the help of those who have the capabilities to help in monetary terms/ We at Traffic Welfare & Road Safety Foundation will appreciate if any help in the form of donation is contributed to it.
