Concerns Regarding The Changed Neet Question Pattern

Overview: Following the NTA's seemingly benevolent initiative to empower NEET aspirants with the ability to choose questions, many parents and students have expressed doubts about the 'Changed NEET Pattern,' its structure, and its utility. These concerns are not entirely unfounded and require immediate attention. Some of the major concerns raised by these individuals include: - Will the concept of Negative Marking apply when evaluating the score in the 10 questions that are to be answered after choosing from a pool of 15 questions? - If a student answers all 15 questions in Section B, will only the first 10 questions be considered, or will only those questions that were answered correctly be counted? - Since students will be assessing 20 extra questions as choices, should there be extra time allocated for the exam? - There is also a popular demand for a 'Reading Space' of 15 minutes, during which students can read the questions and familiarize themselves with them to better prepare for the 180-minute test. Although the number of examination centers has been increased for NEET 2021, the scoring remains the same – each question carries 04 marks, and for every incorrect answer, one mark is deducted.
