Pastor Dwight Reed – Serving The Community With Faith And Care

Pastor Dwight Reed has a vision of a life devoted to serving and helping others with compassion and creating space for community growth in his position as the leader of Christ Apostolic Temple in Des Moines. Pastor Reed has implemented programs to provide food, clothing, pens & pencils for school, mental health and recovery programs, and he works hands-on with the youth. The youth have benefited from mentoring by Pastor Reed and attending programs where their future pursuits could lead to scholarships or better outcomes. Pastor Reed does not analyze his work through the lens of faith, but remarkably, faith is evident in all his work. Pastor Reed also helps those recently released from correctional facilities and tries to connect them with job opportunities as they re-enter society. The leadership of Pastor Reed demonstrates the balance of faith and action to ensure service is given to those who need help as it arises. In every aspect of his ministry, Pastor Dwight Reed makes faith active every day.
